Green Screen

1.The most difficult part was coming up with an idea for a picture and what to edit it into.
2.I like how I was able to include Peter in the picture.
3.I should've moved Jeremy further from the screen to reduce green glow and overflow.

Surreal Photograph

I used layer masks and the brush tool the most.
The best part is the blending of the two different kinds of water and the even lighting.
This assignment was very hard as it took me about 6 tries. It was hard finding another image with good lighting and colors to blend.
I could have changed the hue/saturation to make it blend better.

Speed Challenge Quiz

Mac Stone TED Talk
-I liked his varying points of view, such as the underwater shots.
-I admired how he always had a subject in every shot that was very clear and distinctive.
-I also admired how he would plan and set up shots for months.

-I like the silhouette affect of the students on the sky.
-Because it has a melodramatic feel to it while still being relaxed.
-I cropped the image and changed the hue/saturation.
-It was challenging setting up the image and trying to find a good angle.
-One element of art I used was leading lines formed by the bleachers. One principle of design I used was scale and perspective.

Landscape Bottle

-I learned more about layer masks, clipping masks, and hue/saturation layers.
-My final file had about 25 layers not including all the layers in the folder.
-I liked this assignment because it was step by step and had repeating steps.

1.My favorite image is the one of the flower. I like how the background is out of focus. The browns of the flower also stands out.
2. The shoelace shows good use of lines.
3. Background, foreground, balance, and texture are used in my favorite image.
4. My favorite filter use might be the shoelace with the plastic wrap filter because it makes the laces look wet so it is still a realistic/believable image.

Exploring Landscapes 2

1)I used the rule of thirds in this image. I emphasized more land than sky.
2) My main principle of design was the use of lines. The buildings and baseball field form two lines that draw the eye to the PE students and hills.
3) This photo was taken around 2:00PM. This time gave some intense shadows in the foreground and the background is lit up, which I think made the picture interesting.
4) In this photo the PE students in the foreground compliment the hills in the background.
 ^Edge Burn Technique^

^Channel Mixer^
^Color Lab^
^Desaturation^
^Gradient Map^
1) I think the Gradient Map method gave the best result. It had a larger value range.
2)The Color Lab and Desaturation methods had a smaller value range than the other two methods. I preferred the Gradient Map and Channel Mixer methods.
